PROLOZONE Therapy

What is Prolozone Therapy?

Prolozone therapy is a cutting-edge, non-surgical treatment that combines the benefits of prolotherapy with the healing power of ozone. Prolozone, designed to stimulate tissue repair and reduce pain, is an innovative regenerative medicine therapy that helps accelerate healing in damaged tissues, joints, and muscles.

With Prolozone therapy, the conditions that interfered with the healing process are corrected by providing the stem and blast cells the oxygen they need while improving the circulation around and the stability to the tissue membranes.

Benefits of Prolozone Therapy

  1. Pain Relief and Healing
Prolozone therapy targets chronic pain by stimulating the body's natural healing mechanisms. The combination of prolotherapy (injection of natural irritants) and ozone (a powerful oxygen molecule) promotes tissue regeneration, reduces inflammation, and accelerates healing in damaged areas such as joints, ligaments, tendons, and muscles.

  2. Regeneration of Joints and Tissues
By promoting the growth of healthy new tissue, Prolozone therapy helps repair degenerated or injured areas, such as osteoarthritis or tendonitis. It is especially effective for conditions where traditional treatments have failed or surgery is not a viable option.

  3. Improved Mobility and Function
As Prolozone works to heal and regenerate tissues, many patients experience increased joint mobility, improved range of motion, and better overall function. This makes it an ideal treatment for individuals suffering from joint stiffness, injuries, or chronic conditions that limit movement.

  4. Reduced Inflammation
The ozone component in Prolozone therapy has powerful anti-inflammatory properties. By reducing inflammation in damaged tissues, Prolozone helps alleviate pain and discomfort while promoting a quicker recovery.

  5. Long-Term Pain Relief

By promoting tissue regeneration and healing, Prolozone offers long-term relief for patients who have suffered from chronic pain. While multiple sessions may be required, the regenerative effects of Prolozone therapy often result in lasting improvements, reducing the need for ongoing treatments.

What Does Prolozone Therapy Do?

Prolozone works by stimulating the body’s regenerative potential and therefore compliments all other regenerative treatments including stem cell therapy and PRP.

Prolozone therapy involves a series of injections that combine the healing properties of ozone with natural substances like vitamins, minerals, and prolotherapy solutions. The injections are targeted at areas of injury or degeneration, such as joints, tendons, or ligaments. The ozone helps increase oxygen delivery to the tissues, enhances circulation, and stimulates cellular repair, while the prolotherapy solution causes a mild inflammatory response that kick-starts the body's natural healing process.

The treatment is performed in a clinical setting by a trained medical professional who carefully targets the injured areas. The procedure is typically quick and well-tolerated, with minimal downtime.

Conditions that respond to Prolozone therapy include but are not limited to:

  • Joint pain (knee, shoulder, hip, elbow, etc.)

  • Tendonitis and ligament injuries

  • Chronic back pain

  • Osteoarthritis

  • Sciatica

  • Sports injuries

  • Fibromyalgia and other soft tissue injuries

  • Sinus infections

  • Dental Infections

  • TMJ

  • Pelvic Floor Syndrom

  • Scars

  • Non-Union fractures

What is the cost?

  • There is a consultation fee of $100. After the initial consultation if you decide to purchase the Prolozone package, the consultation fee will be credited toward the package cost.

What to Expect?

  1. Initial Consultation: Your treatment begins with a consultation where a medical provider will assess your condition, medical history, and goals to develop a personalized treatment plan.

  2. Injection Process: During the treatment, the provider will inject a combination of ozone and prolotherapy solution into the targeted area. Most patients report minimal discomfort, and the procedure usually takes between 15-30 minutes, depending on the areas being treated.

Injection Schedule for Prolozone as follows:

    Week 1: 1 injection

    Week 2: 1 injection

Week 6 (four weeks after week 2): 1 injection

Week 10 (four weeks after week 6): 1 injection

  3. Post-Treatment Care: After the session, you may experience mild soreness in the treated area, but this is usually short-lived. Patients are typically encouraged to rest for the remainder of the day but can resume normal activities after 24-48 hours.

  4. Follow-Up Sessions: Depending on your condition, follow-up sessions may be recommended to optimize healing. Many patients begin to notice improvements after 1-2 sessions, with maximum benefits often achieved after 4 treatments.
